Mineola, NY. Grant-Guys Inc. is proud to announce the award of $145,000 in federal fire funds for Atlantic Beach Rescue. The equipment will include portable radios and mobile vehicle radios for the units volunteer members. Located on the Long Beach barrier island have updated and modern communication equipment is crucial to the safety of department volunteer members as they face the on-going risk of hurricanes and coastal storms.

This is ABR’s second attempt to obtain this funding as their 2023 application was denied.

The award includes the federal reimbursement of grant writing expenses.
