FEMA AWARDS TWO NEW JERSEY FD FUNDS
Grant-Guys Inc. (Williston Park, NY) is proud to announce a FEMA AFGP award for two NEW JERSEY fire departments in HUNTERDON County.
-The CLINTON FD was awarded $136,000 in SAFER funds for a pay per call program. This is the third award with Grant-Guys and comes on the heels of a AFGP PORTABLE RADIO award. Under this unique program the federal government will pay fire personnel to respond emergency calls at NO COST to local tax-payers. This program will recruit new members looking for extra income and retain current firefighters.
-The CITY OF LAMBERTSVILLE FD was awarded $136,000 for the purchase of portable radios. This is their first award with Grant-Guys Inc. having been denied this application the prior year.
The departments will have their grant writing fees paid for by the federal government in addition to their award.
The 2023 AFGP is expected to be released in the Fall. In our 15th year, Grant-Guys Inc. is NYS’s largest fire grant writer firm bringing in over $55 million in grant awards to date. That includes $3 million in Long Island awards in September 2022 alone.
Grant writer fees are reimbursed by the federal government upon award.
