Mineola, NY. Grant-Guys Inc. is proud to announce the award $675,000 in federal funds to support the purchase of a fire engine. The situation was critical as the current fire engine was placed out of service for repairs and the department has been relying on a spare loaner vehicle from a neighboring department.

Winning federal grant awards for the purchase of vehicles is nothing new to Wading River—this is the THIRD VEHICLE they have been awarded over the last three years. They have been previously awarded a tanker and brush truck in addition to their 2022 Federal SAFER award. Total awarded funds for the WRFD is in excess of two million dollars.

The award includes the federal reimbursement of grant writing expenses.
